first haircut
I took my little girl to get her first professional haircut. She did so well and the hairdresser did a nice job too. Layna sat still and was so compliant. At one point towards the end, she asked to hold my hand. That was her way of telling me she hoped things were almost finished. Thanks to Kaylie who took many of these pictures and for Auntie Krissy for the nice birthday outfit. Thanks again for checking in!

It takes a long time . . .
for Daddy to come home sometimes, but it's well worth the wait:) . . . btw--Layna started following me around today saying "Mom" again and again. I think she somehow picked it up from her older cousins, but when I ask her who "mom" is--she points to me and they don't call me "mom" . . . and Owie and Judah still say "Mommy" . . . that girl is something!

sunglasses
So much to say about my little munchkins and all of the cute things they say and do. Here their are a a fundraising pancake breakfast our MOMS Club held this past Saturday. They both HAD to wear their sunglasses into the breakfast and keep them on the WHOLE time they were eating their pancakes. Too funny:)
"bus boy"
Our little Owie just started riding the bus for a PreK afternoon program at the local elementary school. He has taken to the process quite well. I finally got around to taking pictures of it with my camera. He rides to school with Sheila on bus #20 and comes home with Jim on bus #21. He's just a great kid. And just seems so grown up . . . sniffle. sniffle.

"snow-man"
Despite a fever, this little munchkin was so excited the play in the first sleddable snow of the year (and apparently "swingable"). He calls anything snow-related "snowman" which is so adorable. Yes, that is him going down in a sled by himself--we really do only have a sledding "bunny slope" in our back yard:-)
Susie!
